One year lamp warranty or 2,000 hours whichever occurs first
February 26, 2010 - BenQ, a world’s leading projector brand, announces new warranty terms for its projector lamps in Europe. All projectors purchased after February 1st will have one year warranty on the lamp or 2,000 hours of operation – whichever comes first. The new lamp warranty extends the standard 90 day or 6 month lamp warranty up to one year. BenQ may require unit to be sent in for repair or evaluation when multiple lamp claims are exercised within warranty period.
Terms and Conditions
This BenQ lamp warranty provides a total of one (1) year of coverage on the lamp for BenQ projectors purchased within Europe. Warranty coverage begins on the date of the original purchase of the projector or the spare lamp, whether purchased separately as a replacement, or as the original factory-installed lamp. To be eligible for extended warranty coverage, the lamp’s original factory warranty must be valid.

- Spare lamps: one year lamp warranty or 2000 hours which comes sooner
- Region: whole Europe
- No limit to claims during warranty period
- Valid for all purchase of current models
